Faculty Recognition & Praise
Dr. Christine Hagedorn, who serves as both Angelo’s advisor and professor, shared the following reflection on his impact and character:
“I have known Angelo for two years as both his advisor and professor, and working with him has been an absolute joy. He brings remarkable enthusiasm to his learning, takes his coursework seriously, and consistently engages deeply with the subject matter, often asking thoughtful questions and pursuing additional research on his own. What truly sets Angelo apart is his exceedingly positive spirit and generosity toward others. Even while balancing work, family responsibilities, academics, and numerous extracurricular commitments, he remains caring, encouraging, and intentional about making space for all voices and perspectives in the classroom.
Angelo is a loyal friend, peer and classmate. He genuinely cares about others’ learning experiences in the classroom and he genuinely cares about his professors. Angelo always shows school spirit whether at athletic contests, at professional networking events, career fairs, and most especially last year during our climate teach in where he went the extra mile and delivered an outstanding presentation to a large audience in our theater.
Angelo challenges himself to get out of his comfort zone and grow both personally and professionally in our academic environment. As an advisor and professor, it is an honor to witness that sort of bravery and pursuit of academic excellence. Angelo is exactly the kind of student every professor hopes to have and I am incredibly grateful that he chose Rosemont and the business program. He is a model of what it means to take your education seriously and strive to get the most from your investment in college. He makes us all better.”
