Rosemont College hosted a successful Alumni Student Networking Event on Wednesday, November 5 in the Gertrude Kistler Memorial Library. The Office of Alumni Relations organized the program and welcomed students and alumni from a wide range of industries. The gathering supported the growth of Alumni Student Networking and encouraged meaningful career conversations.
Career Focused Breakout Sessions
The event opened with breakout tables arranged by career field and academic major. Students met alumni whose experience matched their interests. These sessions helped students explore career options and understand the steps that shape early professional decisions. Alumni shared practical insight based on their own journeys. Students asked direct questions and gained helpful guidance. This format showed the importance of early career engagement and the value of strong Alumni Student Networking at Rosemont College.
Faculty and staff attended to provide mentorship and support. Their presence offered students a link to additional resources within the College. Students also met peers with similar interests which encouraged new friendships and collaboration.
Community Building Through Conversation
Participants gathered for a casual social with refreshments after the breakout sessions. This part of the evening encouraged continued conversation in a relaxed setting. Students followed up on earlier discussions and deepened their connections with alumni. The combination of structured sessions and informal conversation created a productive and welcoming experience for all participants.
