A Note From the Alumni Association Board President
To all my fellow Rosemont Alumni,
Happy almost Fall! Hoping you all enjoyed the warm and sunny days, family and friend visits and the slower days of summer! It’s hard to see it end, although we tend to jump into Fall quickly!
Fall is upon us – Rosemont has welcomed their students back to the campus that we all love and cherish! The life of the campus is the students and the legacy of Rosemont College are the alumni!
These early days that feel like Fall bring subtle changes – earlier sunsets, migrating birds, a golden light and cooler mornings. I think of Fall as, in part, letting go of certain things that make room for what’s next!
We, who are involved with the transition with Villanova, have a lot to think about and act upon in defining what’s next for Rosemont. One thing is for sure – everything that the new Alumni Board will decide will have YOU in mind – our cherished alum who will carry on the legacy of Rosemont. You all matter more than ever!
The new board has been announced and will be organized around 5 areas:
1. Communications
2. Mission & Legacy
3. All Campus Reunion (2027)
4. Events
5. Athletics
It is our intention to form small committees for each of the areas, that will meet regularly. In the months ahead, you will be receiving updates on progress, activities and direction. I would be so appreciative hearing from you on any thoughts/ideas and your willingness to be involved.
I look forward to leading this board over the next two years, as we transition to and align with Villanova in July 2028 while ensuring that our Rosemont legacy is secure and maintained!
With my warmest regards,
Eileen Finn, ’75, Board Chair, Rosemont Alumnae Association
