Rosemont College is excited to present The Space of Desire, a compelling solo exhibition by acclaimed visual artist and researcher Adrienne Jenkins. The exhibit will run from July 23 through August 24, 2026, in the Patricia M. Nugent Art Gallery. We warmly invite the entire Rosemont community and the public to the opening reception on Saturday, July 25, 2026 from 3:00 – 5:00pm.
This exhibition offers a unique opportunity to experience powerful, thought provoking artwork that bridges creativity, psychology, and spirituality.

Meet Adrienne Jenkins
Adrienne Jenkins is a talented visual artist and arts based researcher who explores the creative process through the lens of depth psychology. With advanced training in Jungian studies, dreamwork, and archetypal pattern analysis, she examines ancient mythologies, symbols, and sacred rituals. Adrienne leads seminars on creativity as a path of individuation, personal growth, and transformation — where dreams and artistic images reveal archetypal energies seeking expression.
Her impressive professional background spans two decades in nonprofit arts administration. She has held senior leadership roles at organizations such as Philagrafika 2010, the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance, and Abington Art Center. She also served as adjunct faculty at Drexel University and worked as a marketing research analyst earlier in her career.
Adrienne holds an Executive MBA from Drexel University and a BS in Marketing from Penn State. In recent years, she has deepened her focus on Jungian depth psychology and became a certified Dream Circle Facilitator in 2025.
Artist Statement: Connecting with Life Through Art
In her own words, Adrienne Jenkins shares:
“Art making is how I connect with life. I experience the creative process as a path of self discovery and transformation. Through painting, I explore connections between human, animal and natural worlds… Inspiration for the work comes from sources ranging from ancient wisdom traditions to modern depth psychology and contemporary physics… forming new narratives celebrating life’s complexity, diversity and unity; and also its amazing beauty.”
Her work beautifully weaves together myth, dream imagery, nature, and the human experience, creating vibrant and emotionally resonant pieces.
