Drexel University College of Nursing and Health Professions

4+1 BSN Program

drexel logoPrepare for a career in healthcare with Rosemont and Drexel's College of Nursing and Health Professions. Rosemont is the only college in Pennsylvania with this special partnership. Rosemont students who apply to Drexel University's Accelerated Career Entry (ACE) program and meet the program's requirements are guaranteed admission*.

Earn your BA in Biology at Rosemont College before completing your BSN through Drexel University’s Accelerated Career Entry (ACE) program. Through the intensive immersion in nursing science, as well as a guided entrance into the nursing profession, the ACE program prepares you to take your place as a registered nurse in a convenient, accelerated format.

Graduates of Drexel's ACE program pass the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX) at a rate of 97-100%.

For the 4+1 program, Drexel University considers applicants during their senior year at Rosemont College. Candidates must have completed or currently be enrolled in the required prerequisite classes. Rosemont recommends majoring in Biology following the Pre-Health Track to meet the prerequisite requirements.

Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine

3+4 and 4+4 Medical Degree Programs

ohWith an illustrious history as a premier osteopathic medical school, PCOM instructs medical students to care for the whole patient as a foundation for their educational pursuits. Qualified candidates for the 3+4 program enter Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine after three years of undergraduate study at Rosemont. After the successful completion of your first year of medical school, your undergraduate degree is awarded.

For the 3+4 Program, PCOM considers applicants during their junior year at Rosemont College. You must earn an overall and Science GPA of 3.75 and a minimum MCAT composite score of 500 and at least 125 in each individual section.

For the 4+4 Program, PCOM considers applicants during their senior year at Rosemont College. You must earn an overall and Science GPA of 3.25, a minimum MCAT composite score of 500, and at least 125 in each individual section of the exam.


 University of the Sciences

3+4 PharmD Program

unsciences logoEarn your BA in Biology and your PharmD from USciences in as little as seven years. In our 3+4 program, up to five percent of available seats are reserved for Rosemont students who meet the requirements.

Ranked by U.S. News & World Report as the best pharmacy school in Philadelphia, the USciences PharmD program mirrors the complex realities of modern practice, preparing students to thrive in today’s pharmacy environment.

Benefit from hands-on experience gained through more than 300 clinical affiliation partner sites across the country—including some of the most renowned hospitals, medical centers, pharmaceutical companies, and regulatory agencies.

Eligible students will study at Rosemont College for three years. then apply and transfer to the USciences’ PharmD program. After completing three years at Rosemont and one year at USciences, students will earn a BA in Biology from Rosemont College.

The USciences PharmD degree will be awarded after students successfully complete the requirements in the professional curriculum of the Doctor of Pharmacy Program, typically four years from transferring.
