 Accommodations: The Leuven Institute for Ireland in Europe

Summer Session Dates: 6/29 – 8/16/2020

Trip Dates: 8/2 – 8/13/2020

Classes/Lectures/Instructors/Guest Lecturers include Belgium Industry Experts, Leuven Institute Faculty and Rosemont College Faculty.

Site Visits/Cultural Activities/Lecturers include:

  • City tour of Leuven
  • Leuven Museum
  • Stadhuis (Town Hall)
  • University Library and Bell Tower
  • St. Peter’s Church
  • Stella Artois Tour
  • All-day trip to Brussels that includes Triodos Bank, muséums, the European Union, Cinquantenaire Park, European Quarter, Parliamentarian, Atomium, and more.
  • Students may take advantage of their two free days (at students’ cost) by taking tours to Ghent/Bruges, Antwerp, and Cologne – all initiating from Brussels (just a short train ride from Leuven).

Global Study may be taken as a 3-credit graduate course or a 3-credit undergraduate course

Cost of Trip: $1,500 (cost does not include tuition or airfare). Suggested flights will be made available to students (details to follow).

Price includes: accommodations, classes, workshops, lectures, guest speakers, business sites, cultural visits, and some meals.
