Rosemont Online Orientation

The sisters are the first cohort to participate in the partnership degree program with Rosemont College, one of ASEC's 8 founding member institutions. They will begin classes online at Rosemont College in January 2017.

40th anniversary of Ntozake Shange's choreopoem

On November 2nd, Rosemont students are celebrating the 40th anniversary of Ntozake Shange's choreopoem "For colored girls who considered suicide/when the rainbow is enuf" by participating in a collective reading held in the Gertrude Kistler Library at 4pm.

Rosemont Students Take 1st Prize at the 19th Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium for Biological and Chemical Sciences

On October 22nd, Elizabeth Walton '18 and Aaron Pinninti '17 presented the results of their research project on yeast genetics under the direction of Aikaterini Skokotas, Ph.D. , Associate Professor of Biology and Biology Department Chair, at the 19th Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium for Biological and Chemical Sciences at UMBC. Rosemont is proud to announce that Lizzie and Aaron won first prize in the biological science section! Competing universities included UC Davis, Scripps Research Institute, James Madison University, University of Delaware, Monmouth University, University of Maryland Eastern Shore, and UMBC.

The Rosemont tuition adjustment is the latest in a growing movement of institutions reducing tuition through the "addition by subtraction" method. Last month, LaSalle University launched a similar program aimed at aiding affordability for current and future students.
