At the end-of-year Athletic Banquet on Sunday, April 30, the Rosemont Ravens Athletics staff recognized the accomplishments of student athletes with various awards for their work on and off the playing field. Included in the honors and accolades was the annual Ann S. Donaldson Award.
Independence Blue Cross Employees Shine outside Office, inside Classroom
Rosemont College recently recognized two Independence Blue Cross (IBX) employees for their work inside the classroom. Deborah Nicoletti '17 was awarded the School of Professional Studies' Presidential Medal at the College's annual Academic Honors Day while Catherine Rolón-Boneta '17 was selected to speak at Commencement on behalf of the School of Graduate Studies
Founder's Week Puts Mission Into Action Through Various Events
Spring brings many changes to the Rosemont College campus - The trees start to bloom again, geese return to campus after a winter in the south, and the Adirondack chairs come out and are quickly filled with students enjoying the weather. Although one thing that does not change as the years go by is the planning and implementation of the College's annual Founder's Week, which took place this year from Tuesday, April 18 to Saturday, April 22. During Founder's Week, the campus community comes together to celebrate both the historical and contemporary founders of Rosemont College. This year's week of events, both internal and external, proved to be a unique one as it started on a Tuesday after the campus celebrated the Easter holiday.
2017 Rosemont Community Awards recognize Outstanding Students and Staff
At the Founders' Day luncheon on Thursday, April 20th, President Sharon Hirsh and the Office of the President recognized the accomplishments of the Rosemont community with various awards for students as well as staff and faculty. The Office of the President invited all members of the Rosemont community to submit nominations for these awards.
