Rosemont among Discussants of Tuition for Wall Street Journal

July 25, 2017 - Nearly two years after the announcement of "Our Tuition Promise," the decision to reset tuition still generates media attention for Rosemont College. Most recently, President Sharon Latchaw Hirsh, PhD '70 and sophomore Izzi Moraschi '20 were interviewed by the Wall Street Journal.

Hirsh's Contract Extended to Continue Growth Across Rosemont's Campus

July 12, 2017 - Rosemont, PA - There is no doubt that much has been accomplished in the past twelve years that Sharon Latchaw Hirsh, PhD '70 has served as the President of Rosemont College: enrollment has increased, the Undergraduate College has become co-ed, campus facilities have been enhanced and renovated, tuition has been decreased, salaries have grown, and academic programs have been strengthened. Yet, there is still more on this Rosemont alumna's 'to-do list.'

Fennell Receives Tri-State College Library Cooperative Award

The Tri-State College Library Cooperative (TCLC) recently announced the recipients of the 2017 Spirit of Cooperation Award. Catherine (Cathy) Fennell, Executive Director of Library Services for Rosemont took home the prestigious honor along with Michael LaMagna, Library Services Coordinator at Delaware County Community College.

Rosemont Announces New Strategic Plan for Enhancement of College Athletics

As a part of an extension of the overall strategic plan, Rosemont College Athletics Department is slated for major enhancements. With approval by the Board of Trustees, Director of Athletics, Lynn Rothenhoefer, recently announced a new, innovative, three-year strategic plan specifically for athletics which, when extended an additional two years, will include highlights such as the addition of five new athletic teams.
