Welcome to the class of 2020 and congratulations on your acceptance to Rosemont College! The first step in beginning your college life at Rosemont is attending a CARES Day (CollegeAdvising and Registration for Entering Students). The day that is set to review your Fall 2016 schedule, be introduced to key departments on campus, complete placement testing if needed and receive a preliminary copy of your schedule. 
There are three CARES Days you can choose from:
Thursday - May 19
Wednesday - June 15
Thursday - July 28 
Thursday - August 11
All of the CARES Days will be held in McShain Science Building Auditorium/Rotwitt Theater, students should plan to attend from 8:30-2:30pm.

8:30am                 Breakfast & Registration (McShain/Rotwitt)
9:00am                 Welcome from President Hirsh
9-12:00pm           Small Group Sessions and Overview of Departments*
12-1:00pm           Lunch (Cardinal Hall)
1-2:30pm             Small Group Sessions and Overview of Departments*
*Students will get the chance to meet with different Departments on campus including: Campus Security, Leadership and Engagement, Student Academic Support Center, ACT 101, Honors and Bridge Programs, Campus Ministry, Health and Wellness, Library, Student Academics, Student Life and Residence Life, and Post Graduate Success. 
Please plan to attend from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. We will begin the day promptly in McShain Science Building Auditorium, otherwise known as the Rotwitt Theater
Rosemont College Identification Cards - All Rosemont students are required to have a valid college-issued photo identification card to use the college library, for access to campus buildings and events, and to present to college staff, when requested. You will have your picture taken on CARES day for your ID card and will receive ID card during orientation. 
Placement Testing – During CARES Day, please be prepared to complete a placement test in MATH and WRITING. If you haven’t already submitted a writing sample or taken the placement test. In addition to if you have any additional AP Credits or College Credits that you would like to transfer please make sure you submit all appropriate paperwork and let the Student Academic Support Staff know in order to schedule your classes appropriately.

What to bring to CARES Day

  1. All completed paperwork sent to your home from the Office of Student Life
  2. Photo Id 
  3. $25.00 for ID Card (Cash or Money Order only)
