Religious Studies

Religions have been in place since the beginning of mankind. Studying religion helps students understand different cultures of people and relate to them. Here at Rosemont College the religious studies minor is available to interested students.

Popular majors with a religious studies minor include: 

  • History
  • History of Art
  • Psychology
  • Sociology

The religious studies minor requires 18 credits of coursework from the following courses: 

RST-0120 Introduction to Catholic Thought 3 Credits
RST-0250 Christian Ethics 3 Credits
Four religious studies electives, including one course in scripture 12 Credits
