Our Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology program prepares you with exceptional
clinical skills and the specialized knowledge to enable you to work in diverse settings
and with the particular populations that you choose. Courses are based on a combination
of theory and experiential opportunities which provide you with a deep and holistic
view of the many different facets of counseling. Our faculty are successful, current
practitioners, and recognized experts in their fields.
The 60-credit master’s degree fully prepares students for professional employment,
and fulfills the educational requirements needed for licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.
Students are eligible to take the National Counselors Exam immediately upon graduation.
The College’s 700-hour required internship and seminar component is designed for students

areas of interest such as school guidance, inpatient mental health and drug/alcohol
treatment, community mental health counseling, victim and/or offender treatment, veteran’s
services, and many other areas.
