Welcome to the Rosemont Community Center
What is a Rosemont College experience? It is what happens in our classrooms or the
library, in study groups or labs,
and in our students’ minds and hearts as they learn and make discoveries about themselves and the world around them. But it is also the hours spent with classmates over meals, meetings with a faculty advisor over coffee, being a part of a club, attending events, or just spending down-time with friends.
It is the COMMUNITY that develops from these shared activities. It is how classmates become friends and
become mentors, and how the bonds that tie us to Rosemont are nurtured and grown.
For alumnae who experienced Rosemont in the decades of the 1930s to 1970s, that COMMUNITY was fostered in the “T”. For those in the 1980s and 1990s, that space was the Grind. For others, it has been Commuter or Residence Hall lounges.
But, there has never been a place on campus that brings together all members of the COMMUNITY – students of all ages, faculty, staff, and our neighbors – in one place to live, learn, have fun, eat, exercise, and just be.
Opening in the Fall of 2019.
