Listen For A Change

Rosemont College is proud to be a partner site for Trinity Institute (TI2016), an annual conference that takes place in New York City and which will be streamed live via webcast in the Rotwitt Theater. This year, Trinity Institute's "Listen for a Change: Sacred Conversations for Racial Justice" will explore the most pressing issues of our time, including structural racism, mass incarceration, and policy change. As you know, issues concerning race and racial justice are increasingly in the public eye. The tragic events in Ferguson, Baltimore, Chicago, and other cities have served to draw a great deal of attention to these issues, as have the more recent protests at the University of Missouri, Yale, and other campuses across the nation. The Trinity conference provides us with a unique opportunity to have a meaningful conversation about the topic of racial justice, and in so doing, to address the dimension of this year's mission theme emphasizing diversity in human culture and experience.
